European Journal of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery Aug 23, 2018
Huang Q, et al. - Researchers performed a systematic review and meta-analysis to investigate the effect of left subclavian artery (LSA) revascularisation in thoracic endovascular aortic repair (TEVAR) when the LSA was covered. This systematic review and meta-analysis included 16 cohort studies with a total of 2591 patients. Results revealed significantly lower peri-operative stroke and SCI rates in association with LSA revascularisation. They recommend LSA revascularisation for patients with LSA coverage in TEVAR.
