Yu C, et al. - This population-based cohort study was conducted to examine the existence of a correlation between high-temperature tea drinking, along with the established risk factors of alcohol consumption and smoking with esophageal cancer risk. When combined with excessive alcohol or tobacco use, drinking tea at high temperatures was associated with an increased risk for esophageal cancer.
