Shi X, et al. - In this study, researchers sought to determine the impact of human leukocyte antigen (HLA) mismatching on the outcomes of pediatric kidney transplantation. Findings revealed that in pediatric recipients, HLA-DR and HLA-A + B had a significant impact on post-transplant outcomes, especially graft failure and hence, these are important factors as the post-transplant outcomes are concerned in this age group of patients.
