Ko LN, et al. - In patients with cellulitis, authors assessed if the dermatologic consultation decreases the duration of hospital stay or intravenous antibiotic treatment duration. They noted that the outcomes in patients with suspected cellulitis could be improved by the early dermatologic consultation as it could result in the identification of alternate diagnoses, treating modifiable risk factors, and decreasing the length of antibiotic treatment.
