Zhu B, et al. – This study determined the impact of continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) treatment on glucose metabolism by synthesizing findings from randomized controlled trials. Discoveries of this meta–analysis don't substantiate a positive effect of CPAP on glucose metabolism in individuals with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) and coexisting obstructive sleep apnea (OSA).
