Azizpour Y, et al. - Using electronic databases including, Web of Science, Pubmed, Scopus, Science Direct, ProQuest, authors inspected the connection asthma and body mass index (BMI). Findings disclosed that the risk of asthma in overweight and obese children and adolescence was notably higher compared to that of individuals with underweight/normal weight in both cases. A prominent association was brought to light between asthma and BMI > 85 percentile according to the standardized mean difference (SMD).
