Abenhaim HA, et al. - The association of cesarean deliveries on the incidence of small bowel obstruction is investigated. Among women who have undergone a cesarean delivery, small bowel obstructions (although rare) have increased. Small bowel obstructions and related morbidities can become a more prevalent women's health concern as the rates of cesarean deliveries are increasing worldwide.
