JAMA Mar 13, 2018
Jabre P, et al. - An inquiry was set up with regard to the noninferiority of bag-mask ventilation (BMV) vs endotracheal intubation (ETI) for advanced airway management in terms of survival with favorable neurological function at day 28. When compared to ETI, the use of BMV did not exhibit noninferiority or inferiority for survival with favorable 28-day neurological function among patients with out-of-hospital cardiorespiratory arrest.
