Ammar A, et al. - It was demonstrated in this study that in patients undergoing umbilical or epigastric hernia repair, the addition of midazolam to bupivacaine for rectus sheath (RS) blockade offered adjuvant analgesia as supported by less morphine consumption, longer duration of analgesia, and lower visual analogue scale score.
