No improvement was found in the heart failure–specific health status through the Collaborative Care to Alleviate Symptoms and Adjust to Illness (CASA) intervention. Nonetheless, an improvement was displayed in the secondary outcomes of depression and fatigue, both difficult symptoms to treat in heart failure.
