Boe T, et al. - This article was written with the aim to examine the relationship between the patterns of duration, timing and sequencing of exposure to low family income amid childhood, and symptoms of mental health problems in adolescence. According to the outcome obtained, exposure to poverty in childhood was found to be related to most mental health problems in adolescence. No strong suggestion was found of any timing or sequencing influences in the patterns of associations.
