El Hadouti Y, et al. - This inquiry was set up to assess the accuracy of transthoracic echocardiography as a predictor of fluid responsiveness in post-surgical patients when performed after passive leg raising (PLR). For the first time, it was revealed via this investigation that measurement of cardiac output (CO) after PLR can serve as a predictor of volume response in spontaneously breathing postoperative patients.
