Early versus late canalicular laceration repair outcomes

Chu YC, et al. – A retrospective case series was performed to figure out if delayed repair of traumatic canalicular laceration affects the final outcome. It was concluded that the delayed canalicular repair in unstable patients did not lead to poor results. An elective scheduling surgery, instead of an urgent repair, is feasible for an experienced surgeon.
