Hiltunen H, et al. - Researchers intended to analyze if nutritional management during the first 7 days of life exerting an impact on the growth patterns until the corrected age of 2 years, in extremely preterm infants. It was deduced that energy intake during the first 7 days of life was related to growth until the corrected age of 2 years. Support was yielded with regard to the aggressive early nutritional management of extremely preterm infants.
