de Almeida EPM, et al. - The goal of this study was to examine the efficacy, feasibility and safety of an early postoperative mobilization programme based on supervised exercises in patients who underwent major abdominal oncology surgery in a tertiary university hospital. It seemed that implementing this programme in patients undergoing major elective abdominal oncology surgery was safe and feasible and, importantly, improved functional capacity, however, its impact on clinical outcomes is still unclear.
