Cancer Epidemiology, Biomarkers & Prevention Dec 18, 2019
Oh H, Rice MS, Warner ET, et al. - This study comprised of 1,700 premenopausal and 1,947 postmenopausal women without breast cancer within the Nurses' Health Study (NHS) and NHSII in order to observe whether anthropometrics were correlated with V (captures grayscale intensity difference on a mammogram and is positively related to breast cancer risk, irrespective of percent mammographic density [PMD]), autonomous of PMD. Data proposed that early-life body fatness could highlight a lifelong impression on breast tissue architecture beyond breast density.
