Karmisholt K, et al. - The goal of this research was to systematically review and examine the clinical evidence for early laser intervention in order to reduce scar formation in studies where laser treatment was introduced less than 3 months after wounding. Based on the results, it was deduced that the laser intervention, when introduced in inflammation, proliferation or remodeling phase displayed the potential to reduce cutaneous scar formation.
