Maphalala G, et al. – This work was planned to monitor the early impact of the rotavirus vaccine in reducing rotavirus diarrhea. Observations revealed a rapid reduction of all–cause diarrhea and rotavirus hospitalizations in Swaziland, particularly in young children and during the rotavirus season, after the introduction rotavirus vaccine. There ias a necessity for continued surveillance to monitor the long–term impact of rotavirus vaccine introduction.
