Morgan CD, et al. - Here, the researchers assessed the outcomes associated with early elective delivery because of fetal ventriculomegaly (VM) at their institution. For fetal VM, early elective delivery expedited intervention for rapidly expanding ventricles, while few benefits were identified. They indicated that the infants who were delivered earlier had increased VPS infections, repeat neurosurgical procedures, and medical co-morbidities.
