Felicetti M, et al. - This study was conducted to evaluate the ear, nose, and throat (ENT) involvement at diagnosis of granulomatosis with polyangiitis (GPA) as well as how it could influence relapse rate, mortality and disease severity. They found that in GPA, ENT involvement was not only one of the key clinical features but irrespective of nti-neutrophil cytoplasmic antibodies (ANCA) status, also could point out a milder GPA subset having lower renal involvement and lower mortality rate.
