Sassi FC, et al. - This study was performed to examine whether dysphagia in neurologically intact children with respiratory disease was correlated with specific clinical markers. Researchers revealed that for receiving a detailed swallowing assessment, neurologically intact children with respiratory disease who were submitted to prolonged orotracheal intubation (ie, over 48 h) ought to be prioritized.
