Chene G, et al. - Analysts evaluate the feasibility of optical biopsy in the study of fallopian tubes amid laparoscopy and aim to depict the images in benign premalignant and malignant tubes with a histopathological and immunohistochemical (p53 and Ki67 expressions) correlation. Based on these outcomes, an optical biopsy may be the first emerging mini-invasive technology that could detect tubal lesions and may be considered as a promising tool in the early detection of ovarian cancer.
