Ullmann N, et al. - Researchers explored the efficacy of dynamic expiratory CT for fragile children with suspected tracheo-bronchomalacia. It was observed that dynamic CT served as an effective and highly sensitive diagnostic exam. It was particularly indicated for those small and fragile patients who could not undergo an invasive investigation. CT also permitted a comprehensive assessment, both of the airways and the lungs, which proved to be beneficial for the clinical management.
