Dynamic contrast-enhanced MRI to differentiate parotid neoplasms using golden-angle radial sparse parallel imaging
American Journal of Neuroradiology Jun 16, 2019
Mogen JL, et al. - Forty one consecutive parotid neoplasms were imaged in a retrospective study by the researchers to investigate dynamic contrast-enhanced MR imaging using golden-angle radial sparse parallel imaging for differentiating parotid neoplasms. With a high negative predictive value for malignancy prediction, golden-angle radial sparse parallel MR imaging allowed high spatial and temporal resolution permeability characterization of parotid neoplasms. Improved pleomorphic adenoma prediction in comparison with either metric alone with combination of time-to-maximum and ADC was observed.
