Kamali F, et al. - The effectiveness of dry needling was compared with friction massage to treat patients with tension type headache (TTH). Dry needling and friction massage were equally effective in improving symptoms in these patients. After both dry needing and friction massage, similar decreases in frequency and intensity of headache was noticed.
