Zheng SL, et al. – This study was designed to assess the evidence from randomised controlled trials (RCT) regarding the impacts of drug treatments on outcomes in heart failure with left ventricular (LV) ejection fraction. Findings reported a difference in the efficacy of treatments in patients with heart failure and an LV ejection fraction≥40%, by therapy type, with beta–blockers showing attenuations in all–cause and cardiovascular mortality.
