Moore P, et al. - This study analyzed data from randomised controlled trials (RCTs) comparing percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) to coronary artery bypass graft surgery (CABG) in the treatment of patients with left main coronary artery (LMCA) disease. The intent was to provide guidance regarding patient treatment decisions. Findings demonstrated that in appropriately selected patients, both treatment approaches were reasonable. However, long-term freedom from repeat revascularisation was afforded by CABG where it was feasible.
