Mita T, et al. - This analysis strived to examine the dose-dependent effect of sitagliptin on carotid atherosclerosis in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) receiving insulin treatment. In a dose-dependent manner, the addition of sitagliptin to insulin therapy could attenuate the progression of atherosclerosis among patients with T2DM.
