Tantawy SA, et al. - A randomized controlled trial was conducted among patients with idiopathic chronic orchialgia (ICO) to investigate how effective transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation (TENS) is in pain reduction and how it consequently affects the quality of life (QoL). In these cases, TENS proved effective in reducing pain and improving patients’ QoL. Researchers recognized TENS as an easy-to-use, effective, noninvasive, and simple method for ICO-associated pain control and QoL improvement.
