Rajgopal A, et al. - Authors assessed the influence of previously failed debridement, antibiotics, irrigation and implant retention (DAIR) on the outcomes of two-stage revision total knee arthroplasty (TKA) performed for prosthetic joint infection (PJI). They noted that the failed prior DAIR led to increased failure rates, lower functional outcome and elevated risk of wound-related complications.
