Huang GL, et al. - In upper tract urothelial cancer (UTUC) patients, experts aspired to explore whether preoperative percutaneous nephrostomy (PCN) alters cancer control. In this analysis, there were 664 patients, with clinicopathological data gathered retrospectively for Cox-regression statistical analysis. According to findings, preoperative percutaneous nephrostomy of urothelial cancer of the upper tract presents little danger to tumor seeding and could be regarded as part of the strategy of therapy if preservation of renal function is required.
