Park CB, et al. - For confirming if oxygen therapy increases the resolution rate of primary spontaneous pneumothorax (PSP), this investigation was undertaken. Findings demonstrated that oxygen therapy increased the resolution rate of PSP but clinicians were recommended to be more careful when considering routine use of oxygen therapy in patients with small pneumothoraces. The need for well-controlled prospective studies was realized in this work to confirm the indication of oxygen therapy.
