Ordinary obese men rather than infertile patients were selected to perform a systematic review and meta-analysis of the effects of obesity on semen parameters. The results revealed that semen quality is affected by obesity to a certain extent, and maintaining normal weight may be one of the effective ways to improve male fertility.
