Black AP, et al. - Nondialysis chronic kidney disease (CKD) patients assigned to low-protein diet (LPD) for 6 months were examined for changes in uremic toxins and the gut microbiota profile. LPD seemed to be a good strategy to reduce the uremic toxins production by the gut microbiota in nondialysis CKD patients.
