Ronda J, et al. - Authors attempted to estimate the rates of persistent and/or recurrent Mycoplasma genitalium (MG) and Trichomonas vaginalis (TV) infections in female patients seeking routine gynecologic and obstetric care. Furthermore, they investigated if baseline MG and TV infections speculated prospective sexually transmitted infection (STI). Findings illustrated high rates of persistent and/or recurrent MG and TV infection in urban adolescents and young females.
