International Journal of Paediatric Dentistry Oct 14, 2019
de Camargo Smolarek P, et al. - Experts aspired to explore whether pain and disruptive behavior can be reduced by the use of computerized local dental anesthesia in children. Only studies classified as "low" or "unclear" risk in the key domains at study level were involved for the meta-analysis. According to this systematic review and meta-analysis, pain perception and disruptive behavior in children with computerized or conventional dental local anesthesia do not vary. The quality of the available evidence, however, is poor.
