Cruz AF, et al. - This trial was formulated in order to contemplate the DNA methylation pattern of 21 immune responseÂrelated genes in the different clinical forms of oral lichen planus. The methylation profile of immune response-related genes exhibited variations, according to the clinical type of oral lichen planus following a comparison with the normal oral mucosa. The validation of the yielded data warranted additional exploration.
