Arthritis Care & Research Sep 13, 2018
Ursin K, et al. - In women with peripheral psoriatic arthritis (PsA), researchers sought to study the disease activity during and after pregnancy. Highest disease activity was seen six months postpartum in women with PsA, but in the period from planning the pregnancy to one year after delivery, it was altogether low. Significantly lower disease activity was seen in the women using TNFi in pregnancy. Findings suggested the BASDAI-scores also to be low and stable, but significantly higher six months postpartum than six weeks postpartum.
