Jeh SU, et al. - This trial entailed the inspection of the role of SIRTs in renal cell carcinoma (RCC) carcinogenesis and prognosis. Preliminary evidence pointed at SIRT1, SIRT3, and SIRT6 functioning as tumor suppressors in RCC. SIRT3 appeared to exert a favorable impact on the survival of patients with clear cell RCC.
