Differential expression of immune markers in the patients with obstructive sleep apnea/hypopnea syndrome
European Archives of Oto-Rhino-Laryngology Dec 22, 2018
Xie H, et al. - Researchers analyzed various types of immune cells in the peripheral blood in this case-control study to assess the phenotypic changes of different immune cells in the candidates with sleep apnea/hypopnea syndrome (OSAHS). They observed a notable rise in the percentage of CD3+/CD4+ T lymphocytes and CD19+ B cells and the CD4+/CD8+ ratio in the OSAHS with CD4+/CD8+ ratio positively correlated with aponea hypoxia index but negatively correlated with the lowest SaO2.
