Garcia R, et al. – This study was conducted with the intent of comparing mean birth weights and gestational age at the delivery of infants born to Indian, Pakistani, Bangladeshi and white British mothers in Luton, UK. Marked variations were reported in adjusted mean birth weight between the study cohort. There existed a correlation between primipara Indian mothers and preterm delivery, when compared with Pakistani, Bangladeshi and white British women.
