Psychiatry Research Sep 02, 2017

Kimoto A, et al. – The differences in responses to the Rorschach test between patients with Dementia with Lewy bodies (DLB) and those with Alzheimer's disease (AD) in terms of visuoperception were analyzed. Moreover, this study investigated the utility of the test for assessing visuoperceptual impairment in DLB. The physicians demonstared that the patients with DLB perceived objects in the inkblot differently from patients with AD and proposed that some variables of the Rorschach test could assist with neuropsychological examinations when differentiating DLB from AD.
