Shiau S, et al. – This study aimed at evaluating dietary intake of HIV–infected children in resource–limited settings. Findings indicated that the typical diet of HIV–infected children and uninfected children in Johannesburg, South Africa, did not meet energy or micronutrient requirements. Researchers identified opportunities for interventions to improve dietary intake for both groups.
