Cardenas LZ, et al. - This study was performed to investigate whether diaphragm ultrasound (DUS) associated with inspiratory muscle strength and pulmonary function in healthy subjects. During deep breathing (DB), DUS correlated with lung function and inspiratory strength in healthy patients. When DUS was performed during DB, significant differences were noticeable between genders.
