Porretti L, et al. - Here, the authors examined if the evaluation of direct-granulocyte immunofluorescence test (D-GIFT) improved the diagnostic accuracy of pediatric neutropenia. It was unveiled that D-GIFT evaluation improved the diagnostic accuracy of pediatric neutropenia. However, a requirement arose for the improvement of cell-bound antibody detection in order to decrease false positive results.
