Diagnostic value and pathological correlation of narrow band imaging classification in laryngeal lesions
ENT Journal May 13, 2020
Lin C, Zhang S, Lu L, et al. - In this investigation involving 112 patients (123 lesions), aging from 41 to 91 years, researchers explored the diagnostic value and pathological correlation of narrow band imaging (NBI) classification in laryngeal lesions. In this analysis, patients with laryngeal lesions were chosen from July 2018 through May 2019.All participants in the study were examined by NBI and white light imaging endoscopy. Findings suggested that the NBI classification will make the diagnosis of laryngeal lesions more precise. It is critical for early diagnosis and treatment of leukoplakia of the vocal cord and of laryngeal cancer.
