Diagnostic performance of DWI with multiple parameters for assessment and characterization of pulmonary lesions: A meta-analysis
American Journal of Roentgenology | Nov 08, 2017
Shen G, et al. - The authors performed this meta-analysis to assess the diagnostic performance of DWI using a 5-point rank scale, lesion-to-spinal cord signal intensity ratio, which they refer to as ÂLSR, and apparent diffusion coefficient (ADC) for the characterization of pulmonary lesions. They concluded that 3 DWI parameters [a visual parameter (score on a 5-point scale), semiquantitative parameter (LSR), and quantitative parameter (ADC)] could help in distinguishing malignant from benign pulmonary lesions.
