Diagnostic performance of CT, gadoxetate disodium-enhanced MRI, and PET/CT for the diagnosis of colorectal liver metastasis: Systematic review and meta-analysis

Journal of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Sep 18, 2017

Choi SH, et al. - The aim of this work was to conduct a systematic review and meta-analysis to determine the diagnostic accuracy of multidetector row CT (MDCT), gadoxetate disodium-enhanced MRI, and PET/CT for diagnosing colorectal liver metastasis (CRLM) and the sources of heterogeneity between the reported results. Researchers exhibited evidence that gadoxetate disodium-enhanced MRI displayed the highest sensitivity, and gadoxetate disodium-enhanced MRI and PET/CT had similar specificities for diagnosing CRLM.
