Diagnostic accuracy of miRNAs as potential biomarkers for systemic lupus erythematosus: A meta-analysis
Clinical Rheumatology Jul 12, 2018
Dai ZW, et al. - Authors conducted a meta-analysis to assess the diagnostic accuracy of miRNAs as potential biomarkers for systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). Six eligible studies were included in this meta-analysis. A probability of healthy controls to be the sources of heterogeneity was noted in the subgroup analysis. Findings suggested moderate accuracy and influence of MiRNAs in blood on diagnosing SLE. They noted that 0.75, 0.72, and 8.79 were the pooled sensitivity, specificity, and diagnostic odds ratio of miRNAs.
