Chang EH, et al. – The contrast–enhanced ultrasound (CEUS) was assessed for its accuracy in order to mark the kidney lesions in patients with and without chronic kidney disease. For identifying malignancy of kidney lesions, CEUS was determined to be highly sensitive. With the respect to CEUS sensitivity, this study suggested its potential as an imaging test to rule out malignancy among patients with chronic kidney disease or other contrast contraindications.
